KENT ROAD-KORITO NEWS
EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. The Korito school committee held its fortnightly euchre party and dance on' Friday evening. Mr. R. Weston was master of ceremonies. The prize-winners were Mrs. Swan, Mrs. Snell and Mr. J. Martin and Mr. J. Keast. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss Lorna Ashman and Mr. J. Kemp. Music was supplied by Miss W. Snell and Miss D. Snell (extra). A Bible class was conducted at the Mangamahoe hall on Tuesday evening by Rev. Keenan. There was a large attendance. Personal. Mrs. C. Weston and Miss Betty Weston are spending a holiday at Tarato. Miss B. Baker is staying with her parents. Miss Lewis is on holiday. Mrs. J. Bowen has returned home. Mrs. Medway and family are staying with Mrs. May.
