TRAIN PLUNGES INTO FLOOD TWO AEROPLANES COLLIDE ANOTHER CRASHES IN RAIN Rec. 10.50 p.m. El Paso (Texas), Aug. 29 Two spectacular aeroplane accidents and a railway smash resulted in the loss of sixteen lives in the south-western section to-day. A train plunged through a bridge into a flooded river near Tucumcari (New Mexico). Eight were killed and forty injured. A passenger aeroplane flying in a rainstorm' near Amarillo (Texas) crashed, killing two pilots and three Two army aeroplanes crashed head-on, killing one instructor and the two cadets. The second instructor leaped to safety in a parachute.
