FINE, MILD WEATHEIR

LIGHT SOUTHERLY WINDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will still be fine in most places. Some scattered light showers are probable at first between Castlepoint and East Cape and later in Westland and the far south. There will be cool night but mild day temperatures. An anti-cyclone still extends from the north Tasman Sea across the South Island, but is gradually losing intensity. A slight low-pressure wave is approaching across the south Tasman Sea. Southerlies will still prevail over most of the North Island, strong at first in the far north and north-east and light elsewhere. Seas will be moderate.
