The Hauturu, which arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning, completed discharge of 130 tons of general cargo and sailed in the afternoon for Wanganui. The Canopus is to leave Westport today for New Plymouth. She is due tomoirow to discharge about 300 tons of coal before sailing on Monday for Wellington- (Westport Coal Co.). The Mahurangi, which left New Plymouth on Monday night for Patea, could not work the river port and returned to New Plymouth to discharge her coal cargo. She sailed last night for Mokau. (Mokau Collieries Ltd.). The Kaimai is to load at Dunedin tomorrow for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. She is due at New Plymouth on August 26 to discharge general cargo before sailing for Wellington the same day. (U.S.S. Co.).

The John is expected to load at Dunedin about'August 21 for New Plymouth, via Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui, and is dile about Saturday. (Hooker Bros.).

MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS.

MAHANA DELAYED.

The Mahana, which was to have left Timaru yesterday for New Plymouth in the course of her New Zealand loading itinerary, has been delayed and will leave Timaru this afternoon. She is due at New Plymouth on Sunday morning to lift 11,000 freight carcases of meat and 2630 crates of cheese before proceeding to Wanganui and Auckland to complete. She is to clear Auckland on September 1 for London and west coast of England ports, |

CARGO FOR PORT CAMPBELL.

The Port Campbell, which left London on June 27 for Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart and Launceston, has been announced to load at New Plymouth on August 28. She will lift 7000 boxes of butter and 3000 crates of cheese at New Plymouth. Her itinerary is not yet completed.

KIWITEA TO LOAD.

The New Plymouth agents have been advised that the inter-colonial steamer Kiwitea is to load a cargo of poles at Newcastle on August 25. She will proceed to Sydney, where on August 29 she will take in general cargo before sailing for Nev/ Plymouth. The vessel is due about September 4.

CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST.

The Hauraki is expected to arrive at Auckland from Pacific Coast ports on September 1. The vessel will complete discharge of her cargo at Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is due at< New Plymouth on September 9 KALINGO FROM MELBOURNE.

The inter-colonial steamer Kalingo is to load at Adelaide on September 13 and at Melbourne on September 16 for New Plymouth, Auckland and Wellington. She is due at New Plymouth on September 22. ‘ PORT HUNTER TO DISCHARGE.

Tire Port Hunter left London on August 11 for New Zealand ports, via Panama, and is due at Auckland on September 1 to commence discharge of her London cargo, The vessel will complete discharge at Wellington and New Plymouth, where she is due on September 24. At New Plymouth she will commence loading, of which the detailed allotments have not yet been announced.

CARGO FROM GULF OF MEXICO.

The motor-ship Inverbank is loading at Gulf of Mexico poi}s for Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, . Dunedin andn Australian ports. She is due at New Plymouth about the end of September.,

MATAKANA IN PORT.

To complete loading the Matakana arrived at Wellington on Wednesday afternoon from Napier. She is scheduled to clear the port at daybreak to-day for London, via Cape Hom. The vessel loaded at New Plymouth on August 4.

THE TEKOA.

Reported to have reached Colon on Monday the steamer Tekoa is en route from Liverpool with cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Nelson. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on September 6 and is due at New Plymouth on September 23.
