PRINCE’S PLANE DAMAGED
FORCED LANDING MADE. PRINCE VISITING BIARRITZ* British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Aug. 16. The Prince of Wales flew to Le Bourget, Paris, from Sunningdale last night in a new Vickers Viastra twoengined aeroplane on his way to spend a short holiday at Biarritz. Travelling incognito by a night train from Paris the Prince reached Bayonne this morning and left by motor-car for Biarritz. While flying the Prince’s machine back to Croydon Flight-Lieutenant Fielden was obliged by bad weather to make a forced landing and the plane was slightly damaged.
