Thirteen started. Won- by two lengths, a length and a half between second and third. Time, Im. 25Js. Flying Handicap: Topical, 8.7 (Weiss), 1; Dermid, 8.11 (Cook), 2; Limarch, 7.12 (Bartie), 3. Fourteen started, including Ammon Ra, who was having his first race of the year and looked like a winner, but faded away a furlong from home. Topical greatly surprised everyone by winning by a length. Onlookers of this. race saw real class reminiscent of Randwick meetings. Limarch was a length away third.
