The question of converting the board’s loans was fully discussed and arrangements were made to convert £25,100 at a satisfactory figure.

As a ratepayer had lodged an objection to the existing town district valuations it was decided to instruct the clerk to communicate with the Valuer-General with a view to ascertaining whether it would be possible to have a revaluation of the district made .at the same time as the proposed revaluations of. tire Eltham, Hawera and Waimate counties.
