SLIGHT ADVANCE IN CHEESE
BUTTER PRICES REMAIN STEADY. BOTH MARKETS SHOW FIRMNESS. A slight rise in cheese prices was recorded in cables from London yesterday. White was quoted at 50s and coloured at 52s in a message received by Mr. H. M. Thomson, New Zealand representative of the Anglo-Continental Produce Co. Ltd. Butter prices were maintaining tire same level as they reached the previous day. Both markets were reported to be firm.
