SERIOUS CHARGE PREFERRED
CASE AT NEW PLYMOUTH. On a charge of a serious offence against a male Horace Peile Clarke, New Plymouth, appeared before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., at the New Plymouth Court yesterday. The boy concerned, giving evidence, said that on the evening of' August 11 he had gone to town for a paper. There he had met accused and had gone with him to a house in Fulford Street, where the offence allegedly took place. The man was drunk when he met him. Next day he informed the police. At this stage the case was adjourned until this morning.
