VALUABLE POT PLANTS
DESTRUCTION BY FIRE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Aug. 16. Valuable pot plants were destroyed by fire in a hothouse at the botanical gardens, the damage amounting to £l5O on the plants and £2OO on the building. The fire occurred at an inopportune period when the council’s gardeners were advancing the work of planting out.
