SUCCESS OF GUILD SOCIAL. The euchre party and dance, organised by the committee of St. Luke's Church and held in the Bell . Block hall on Saturday evening was a great success. Of the ten tables at euchre, the winners were Mrs. McNeil and Mrs. Rundle, Messrs. Bethell and Harold Street. The hall was well filled with dancers and music was played by Messrs. L. W. Rowe and C. Watson. The master of ceremonies was Mr. T. Mallon. Supper arrangements were in charge of the guild ladies. Miss Nancy French has left for Masterton and Wellington.
