ARBITRATION COURT CASES SERIOUS HARDSHIP ALLEGED. APPEAL MADE TO MINISTER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Aug. 15. A. request that an effort should be made to expedite the hearing of compensation cases by the Arbitration Court was made to the Hon. Adam Hamilton, Minister of Labour, to-day by a deputation representing the Alliance of Labour. Mr. L. Glover, vice-president, said that considerable hardships were being suffered by litigants as a result of delay that had occurred in the hearing of their cases. Mr. Hamilton said the difficulty had been that Mr. Justice Frazer, judge of the Arbitration Court, was engaged on the Transport Appeal Board. However, he had arranged for the court to sit at Auckland next week and it was hoped that a sitting would be held at Wellington shortly to deal with cases pending. The question of relieving Mr. Justice Frazer of his transport duties was at present being considered., ? '
