Mr. R. B. Sutton was yesterday reelected chairman of directors of the Moa Co-op. Dairy Company for the. thirteenth year.

The death has occurred of Mr. John Tinline Mowat, aged 70 years, known as “the kindly giant” and member of a well-known Marlborough family, states a Press Association message from Blenheim. For two years he was honorary secretary of the Blenheim Relief of Distress Committee and had full control of the relief depot. He was educated at Nelson College, where he had a good athletic record, and was a Nelson and Marlborough Rugby representative for some years. He worked at Altimarlock, his family’s station, then visited America and later was inspector of stock in Falkland Islands. In later years, until his retirement, he was in the land agency business at Blenheim. He is survived by a widow and two daughters (Mrs. L. H. Clouston, Springlands, and Mrs. A. Goyder, Spring Creek) and two sons, Mr. Roy Mowat '(Wellington) and Mr. Alexander Mowat (Mokau).
