The proposal of the Dean of Canterbury to give Japan a portion of Northern Australia is hardly commented upon by the Japanese Press. > The Jiji, referring to Japan’s enormous population, says it does not take the Dean’s proposal seriously, but Australian newspaper articles referring to ' the conditions of Japanese industry are taken very seriously. Misstatements about Labour conditions in Japan are attributed to people with an axe to grind. Counter information is being collected for transmission to Australia.
