A ruling regarding injured players in Rugby football matches has been made by the New Zealand Rugby Union to the effect that when a player is injured and has left the field, he can only re-enter the field behind a player on his own side who last played the ball, or when the ball has become dead. Notification of this ruling has been given to the Hawke’s Bay Rugby Union, and it was decided to ask. the New Zealand Union what the penalty was for an •infringement of the ruling.
