INGLEWOOD COUNTY SCHOOLS. TARIKI AND NORFOLK FINALISTS. .By defeating Kaimata school by 10 points to 6 Tariki is the eastern division finalist and will play for the county championship against Norfolk, which defeated Egmont Village by 10 points to 7 in the western division final.
Owing to the Inglewood senior Rugby fixtures having been altered, the championship matches between Tariki and Durham, the Norfolk versus Tariki basketball fixture and the eastern and western division basketball and Rugby representative matches, have been postponed from July 22 to July 29. The Rugby matches will be curtain-raisers to the Inglewood and Celtic senior fixture on July 29. The North Taranaki Country Schools’ Association has agreed to play representative football and basketball matches against the Inglewood county representatives at Inglewood on August 5. The visitors will be bringing two basketball teams and one Rugby team. The Rugby will be played as a curtain-raiser to the Inglewood and Tukapa sepior fixture. TEAMS SELECTED.
