“TROOPING THE COLOUR.”—The ceremony of “Trooping the Colour” in celebration of the King’s Birthday took place on the Horse Guards Parade, London, on June 3. The Prince of Wales took the salute in place of the King, who was still suffering from rheumatism. At top, the King and Queen, Prince George, the Duchess of York, the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose, the Princess Royal, Lord Lascelles, the Duke of Connaught (in busby), and other members of the Royal Family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace watching the Prince of Wales take the salute on his return to the Palace from Whitehall. Below, the Prince of Wales, th Duke of York, and the Earl of Harewood on their way to the ceremony.
