NORDON CUP HOCKEY
TARANAKI TEAM SELECTED. The Taranaki hockey team to play Waipa at Waitara next week has been selected: Fleet -will not be playing but K. Pennington will be included. The team is:— Goal: Bennett. Full-backs: Thomson and Ryan. Halves: V. Betts, Page, and Duncan. Forwards: Pennington, Irwin, Watson, Surgenor, S. Bette. Emergencies: Windle (forward), Brough (half), Pitcher (full-back). Following are the teams to play at New Plymouth:— New Plymouth Rivals: Coker; Purcell, Ward; Vestey, J. Innes, Ewart; McLean, Groombridge, A. Innes, Tiplady, Lightfoot. New Plymouth Wanderers: J. Wilson, L. Innes, M. Sole, Beaven, Page, Booth, Alsop, Ward, Gibbons, Wolfe, Murtagh.
