For’ his service to peace as President of the Disarmament Conference Mr. Arthur Henderson has been presented with the Waterier Peace Pnze.of £2200. The money represents the annual reveniie from the fortune of a Dutchman left to the Carnegie Foundation, to be given as a yearly prize to the person who renders the most valuable services in the cause' of' peace. The Board of Directors considered that the energy, the persistence, the ability and the im- - partiality with which Mr. Henderson has carried out his job from the beginning of the Conference marked him out as the right man to receive it for 1933. j
