Results of last Week-end’s games in the Schneider Shield competition were: Ratapiko 12 v. Tarata-Purangi 3; Kaimata 6 v. Durham 0. The Egmont Village- Norfolk Road game was postponed because of weather conditions and shortage of players. The teams now stand:—

SCHNEIDER SHIELD TOURNAMENT. TEN-A-SIDE AT INGLEWOOD DRAW. The Inglewood Rugby Football Club will hold to-morrow the ten-a-side Rugby Union tournament open only to teams from the Schneider Shield competition. Much interest is being created and keen football is assured as the Schneider trophy has been keenly sought by all the teams. Full arrangements have been made to make the tournament a successful one. Following is the draw for the day’s matches:— First Round: Tarata-Kaimata v. Tarata, Ratapiko B v. Durham-Norfolk-Egmont B. Second Round: Kaimata v. Ratapiko A, Durham v. Egmont Village, Norfolk V. Durham-Norfolk-Egmont A, winner of match No. 1 v. winner of match No. 2 in first round. AU Schneider Shield competition players have been asked to be present to make up the combined teams. The start must be at 12.30 p.m. to get through the programme. Five minutes only will be allowed for late arrival, otherwise the games will be forfeit. FIFTH GRADE MATCH. In a fifth grade match during the week New Plymouth High School B defeated School C by 5 to nil. For the winners H. Smith scored a try which R. McLean converted. r
