DUKE’S PAYING GUESTS

BUCHANAN CASTLE VENTURE. The Duke of Montrose will act as host to a house full of paying guests this summer at Buchanan Castle, Drymen. It is expected that there will be a full complement of visitors during the shooting season, and there have been many bookings for August. Buchanan Castle was first opened to paying guests last April. The duke is delighted at the success of his venture in such a short space of time. “There will be a steady influx of visitors during June and July,” his secretary said, “and we expect even more will come without booking far in advance.” The shortest period of stay for guests is one week. ,
