FIRE ON SMALL STEAMER
LITTLE DAMAGE AT WELLINGTON. TUGS QUELL PAKURA OUTBREAK. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, June 21. An outbreak of fire occurred on the Richardson Company’s Pakura, 700 tons, which is at present laid up in the stream. The tugs Terawhiti and Natone were sent out and soon quelled it. It is stated that the fire originated m some refuse amidships and little damage was done.
