GOLF TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA
NEW ZEALAND LADIES CHOSEN. MATCH FIXED AT MELBOURNE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The executive committee of the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Union has selected the . following team to play a. match against a team of Australian players at Melbourne on September 1: Mrs. J. C. Templet (Waimate), Miss O. Kay (Otago), Miss B. Gaisford (Marton), Mrs. H. Dodgshun (Otego) and Mrs. Guy Williams (Masterton). Mrs. Williams will be captain and manager of the team, which wil leave Auckland on August 18. It Will also take part in the Australian women’s championship tournament.
