AUSTRIA SECURES LOAN
THREE POWERS SUBSCRIBE ARRANGEMENT AT LAUSANNE TENSION WITH GERMANY NAZIS SUPPRESSING NEWS By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, June 15. Dr. Dolfuss, the Austrian Chancellor, who expects to reach Vienna on Sunday, via Paris by air, secured the £10,000,000 loan authorised at Lausanne. The date of issue is yet to be fixed. The subscribers are England, France and Italy. France, whose share is the largest, delayed the loan because French Socialists resented the treatment of Socialists in Austria. A Berlin cable states thi.; the German Press is so preoccupied with the Austrian tension that it has devoted "little attention to the Economic Conference. It considers, however, that England has adopted the right method respecting war debts. • The German public is still unaware of the arrest-of Dr. Wasserbaeck, an Austrial Legation official. The newspapers were forbidden to publish the. news. They were ordered to state that Dr. Wasserbaeck had left Germany in consequence of the disgraceful treatment of Herr Habicht, Herr Hitler’s Nazi emissary in Austria.
