Smuts (South Africa) is Interesting himself in the Anglo-Irish dispute, says the political correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, and is interviewing the Free State and British leaders with a view to a resumption of formal conversations, but it doubtful whether Mr. Eamon de Valera is prepared to engage in negotiations at present.
