COLD, SQUALLY WEATHER
MODERATE WESTERLY WINDS.
By Telegraph—Press Association.
Wellington, Last Night.
The weather will be cold, changeable and somewhat squally with showers in most districts. Conditions, however, will gradually improve, more especially in districts with an easterly aspect. The last of the recent long series of cyclones is passing eastward. An anticyclone now extends from Central Otago across the north Tasman Sea, while an elongated westerly depression is situated farther south. There will be moderate to strong south-westerly winds backing shortly to westerly and northwesterly again. Seas will be rough north of Farewell Spit.
