STRATFORD JERSEY CLUB
LARGE ATTENDANCE AT RE-UNION. The annual re-union of the Stratford Jersey Cattle Club attracted to the Foresters’ hall last night a large number of members andvtheir wives and visitor's from various parts of th? province together with several outside breeders who had been attending the Jersey sales in Taranaki. The president of the club (Mr. H. J. Kaye) presided and associated with him were the Mayor and Mayoress (Mr. and Mrs. J. W. McMillan) and Mrs. W. J. Polson. ' •
Items were given by Misses H. Grant, E. Cartwright, E. B. Cartwright (songs), J. Belcher and E. Longstaff (elocution), Messrs. J. Simpson (musical monologues), A. H. Fryer-Raisher, J. Cran, B. Bellringer and P. Aitken (songs). The accompaniments were played by Mrs. J. Simpson and Misses E. Moon and G. Galbraith. Community singing was led by Messrs. Cran and Simpson with Miss Moon at the piano.
