COMPENSATION FOR WIDOWS
NAPIER HARBOUR DISASTER. JUDGMENT ENTERED BY . COURT. By Telegraph—Press Association. < Napier, Last Night. Judgment in eight claims for compensation by the families of. the. victims of the launch disaster on December 28, when ten watersiders were drowned, was entered by Mr., Justice Ostler in the Supreme Court this morning. The amounts agreed upon, by the parties are: Mabel Knitt, £lOOO, £25 of which goes to a second plaintiff, George Knitt; Edith Mary Aplin, £1250; Florence Cooper, £1250; Alesha. Agnes Andrews, £1200; Isabella Boyd, £1150; Hannah Medcalf, £1150; Christina Johnson, £1000; Elizabeth , £lOOO.
