An Arctic hunter named “Finlander Kid” is 103, but as strong as a man of 40. His hair is four yards long. He wears it in a bag round his neck. What is probably the biggest electric sign in the world has just been erected at Leverkusen in Germany. It has been put up between two 400 ft. chimneys standing about 200 ft. apart at the works of the German Dye Trust. In letters nearly 40ft. deep a name has been arranged vertically and horizontally, the central letter serving for both. The whole is enclosed in a great. circle of • 200 ft. diameter, made up of 20GO electric [lamps, and it can be seen from a great distance.. The name is that of the founder of the trust and is familiar on many products in Germany.
