WIFE’S MAINTENANCE ORDER. REDUCTION TO 10s A WEEK. « London, May 9. The maintenance order obtained by Lady Langford against Lord Langford was reduced to-day to 10s a week. Arrears are payable at the rate of 5s a week. Lady Langford demanded 15s a week, and Lord Langford offered ss, declaring he was without means, and that the constant publicity hindered his prospects of getting a job. A maintenance order for the payment of £2 a week against her husband, who is the Auckland-born holder of the ancient Irish barony, was obtained by Lady Langford in the West London Police Court on (January 26,, 1932. Lady Langford was working as a waitress in a London tea room when her husband, Mr. C. W. Rowley, a native of East Tamaki, succeeded to the peerage.
