BALSOM’S SOLE ENTRY. j • . .- . , - i A striking young heifer is Hazelwood Lovely, not too : fine in the shoulder, with a . beautiful skin and in good con-' dition, despite the fact that she has had no special feeding. Mr. R. H. Balsom,of Mahgorei, has been breeding for over 20 years, and has ..good backing behind his entry. Her dam, Hazelwood Snowflake.; with a record under G.H.T. of 370 lb fat in. 270 days, combines the blood of Grannie’s Knight, C. 8.8., Soumise Majesty (imp.) and Campanile’s Sultan (imp.). Her sire is Golden Prudence (imp.), a young Brampton-bred bull with exceptional butter-fat backing and with two lines to Sybil’s Gamboge through two of his greatest sons. At the present tiine this heifer is in calf to Meon’s Knight, whose sire is Peggy's squire. She is listed under lot 38 in the National sale, and will be sold on Monday. •
