CHANNEL STEAMERS COLLIDE

A collision between two Belgian steamers on the Dover-Ostend route occurred during a Channel fog this afternoon. The mail boat Princess Marie Jose, of 2477 tons, which left Dover with 110 passengers aboard, was more seriously damaged, but was able to proceed, while the Stad Antwerpen, carrying 246 passengers, reached Dover safely. None of the passengers or the crew was hurt.
