STRANGEST BROADCAST
COMMONS DEBATE REPRODUCED PROPAGANDA BY POLAND. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Warsaw, April 30. One of the strangest broadcaste in history has -been conducted throughout Poland. Actors and actresses representing British members of the House of Commons reproduced the historic debate on April 13 in which Major C. R. Attlee (Labour), Sir Austin Chamberlain (Conservative), Major H. L. Nathan (Liberal), Colonel J. C. Wedgwood (Labour) and Mr. Winston Churchill (Conservative) sharply criticised and condemned the Nazi treatment of German Jews. The announcement described the appearance of the Chamber and the debate began, punctuated with cheers. The experiment was a remarkable piece of successful propaganda as it was transmitted both in Poland and Germany. It is likely to arouse indignation in Germany.
