OWNERS’ CONFERENCE ENDS. WORKERS TO TAKE BALLOT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. No agreement in the coal price dispute was reached to-day at the adjourned conference of representatives of the Auckland colliery companies, and the meeting was closed without making any arrangement for further negotiations for a settlement. A mass meeting of miners will bs held at Huntly to-morrow to take a ballot on the question of resuming work at Rbtowaro, Renown, Glen Afton and MacDonald mines, which have been idle since April 18.
