2,009,000 GALLONS FROM RUSSIA. FRIST OF NEW VENTURE. A large party of those ■ interested in the venture of the British motor-tanker Oil Reliance in bringing. to New Zealand more than 2,090,000 gallons of petrol frdm Russian ports in the Black Sea, assembled on the ship at Point Howard wharf early on Thursday afternoon. The visitors were shown over the ship by the master, Captain G. 'Whiting, and an informal meeting was later held on the wharf.
