RACES EN SECOND GUP SERIES. - The second of the series of races was held by the Inglewood Cycle Club for the No. 2 Cup at Jubilee Park on Thursday night The track was in excellent condition and a large crowd of spectators was thrilled with close finishes. Results are:— One mile, A grade: L* Mace 190yds 1, L. Volzke 130yds 2, J. Zimmerman 140yds 3. Ten started. Won by inches, half a wheel between second and third. Time, 2m. 30s. Three miles, B grade: L. Volzke 330yas 1, J. Zimmerman 350yds 2, F. Belk 350yds 3. Twelve started. Won by half a length, a wheel between second and third. Time, 7m. 235. The points for the A Grade Cup are: C. Parker 6, L. Volzke 5, C. Burke 4, •L. Mace 3, J. Zimmerman 3. B grade, half mile: V. Robson 30yds 1, E. Standing 15yds 2, J. Zimmerman 15yds 3. Won by three lengths, a wheel between second and third. Time, Im. 10s. The B grade points are: G. Parker 11, L. Mace 10, E. Standing 10, J. Zimmerman 7, V. Robson 3. A boys 440 yards fiat race resulted: F. Seymore 1, N. Spurdie 2 4 On Tuesday night a mile and two-mile races will be run for the A grade and a three-quarter mile for B grad®.
