INTER-PROVINCIAL ROWING
COURSE FOR EIGHT-OAR EVENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, March 10. At a meeting of the Otago Rowing Association it was mentioned that the New Zealand council had agreed to the interprovincial eight-oar race being rowed over a course of two miles. This was said to be ridiculous, as the rules distinctly stated that the course- must be three miles. It was decided to write to the New Zealand Rowing Council requesting that the race be rowed over a course of three miles as stimulated in the rules.
