On top of the Australian Christmas Cricket Cake (which weighed threequarters of a ton, and was on exhibition at Australia House, London), there was a representation of Sydney Cricket Ground with a Test match in progress. The cake was made entirely of Australian products. The Lord Mayor of London, to whom the cake was presented by the farmers of Australia, distributed the cake among London hospitals.
