It was revealed at the British industries fair that Britain is supplying babies' perambulators to most countries of the world. It exported 75,000 in 1932 to the Continent, United State?, India, Fiji, Argentina and China. They are one of the few articles Britain has never imported. It is expected that 100,000 will be exported in 1933. The fair is also showing a boom in British-made toys and . even in lines, in which Germany has led the world for years. Orders have been placed for hundreds of thousands of mechanical toys, rag dolls, books, model aeroplanes and meccano products from all over the world.
