A NOVEL FRUIT MOULD. / _ Quarter-pound white grapes, eight large prunes, four small bananas, one and a half pints milk, two and a half ounces cornflour, two egg-yolks, two two ounces sugar, vanilla. Mix the cornflour to a cream with a little of the milk. Bring the rest of the milk and the sugar to boiling point, remove from stove, and stir in the creamed cornflour. Return to stove and continue to stir until it boils again. Remove ifrom stove, beat in the egg-yolks, then I continue to boil gently, stirring all the time, till the eggs are cooked. Flavour with vanilla. Skin, halve and stone the grapes. Rub the peeled bananas through a sieve. Have the prunes soaked, dried and cut from the stones in small pieces. Mix the prepared fruit and stir into the egg mixture. Turn into a moistened mould and set in a cold place until required. Turn the sweet out of the mould to serve, and decorate with cream. Delicious Banana Sweet. Four Bananas, four egg-whites, two egg-yolks, one gill cream, two tablespoonsful sugar, vanilla essence, halfounce gelatine. Beat the egg-yolks with the sugar till stiff. Add the cream slowly, and flavour with vanilla. Rub the peeled bananas through a fine sieve, and mix into the egg and cream. Dissolve the gelatine in a little warm water, and beat this into the mixture. As soon as it starts to set, fold in lightly the stiffly-whipped egg-whites. Pour -into a well-moistened mould, and leave in a cool place to set. Turn out when required, and decorate with a little whipped cream.
