PRIMARY SCHOOL CRICKET
WAITARA AND CENTRAL DRAW. In a primary school .cricket match at Pukekura Park yesterday Central and Waitara played a drawn game. Waitara, by dint of hard hitting by M- White and a good innings by B. White, compiled 94 runs (M. White 30, B. White 19, W. Andrews 14, C. Galger 10). Diprose took three wickets for 15 and Bolton three for 22. Charteris and Diprose held the fort for Central, who had lost seven wickets for 64 runs when stumps were drawn. Diprose made 26 and Charteris 16. R. Galger took two for six and M. White two for 14.
