TENNIS LADDER MATCHES. During the week-end three ladder matches were played at the Inglewood tepnis courts. Miss C. Partridge beat Miss M. Longbottom, Miss B. Eaves beat Miss M. Longbottom and Miss M. Longbottom beat Miss K. Coles. The ladder now stands as follows: .Mrs. Grant, Miss B. Eaves, Miss C. Partridge, Miss Longbottom, Miss M. Nutting, Miss N. Wilson, Miss K. Coles, Miss L. Frewin, Miss P. Partridge, Miss Nicholson, Mrs. Torrens. Master John Mulholland, son of Mr. J. Mulholland, postmaster at Inglewood, has received notification that he has won the Ruakura Agriculture Scholarship, tenable for 18 months. He has accepted the award. Master Mulholland is at present a pupil of Stratford Technical High Schoo*!, where keen interest is taken in pupils studying this course.
