Herr Adolf Hitler declared at a Nazi election meeting at Stuttgart that the present Government had no intention of resigning if defeated at the polls. “I did not wish to begin my task before the German people had spoken, but I am determined that the German nation shall in no circumstances be allowed to return to the former regime,” he said.-
