DEHORNING OF CATTLE BILL
RIGHT OF DIRECT TRANSPORT. COMMITTEE’S REPORT ON BILL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Dehoming of Cattle Bill was reported to the House of Representatives to-day from the Agricultural, Pastoral and Stock Committee with amendments. Mr. H. S. S. Kyle (Co., Riccarton) said the amendments gave breeders or graziers of cattle the right to take homed stock from the pastures direct to the slaughter-yard but they would not be able to truck them or leave them in saleyards.
