SMALL FARM SETTLEMENT
185 COTTAGES CONSTRUCTED. INFORMATION GIVEN HOUSE. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The number of cottages built by the Government for the ten-acre farm scheme to November 30, 1932, was 185, according to a return tabled in the House to-day by the Rt Hon. J. G. Coates on the motion of Mr. A. S. Richards. Cottages placed on ten-acre farms numbered 161, and the cost of construction and erection amounted to £27,253. The information in the return relates to the work under sharemilking agreements as well as the small' farm plan itself.
