The John sailed from New Plymouth on Saturday for Port Waikato and thence will go to Westport and Lyttelton to reload for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.). The Holmglen is due at New Plymouth from Wellington and Wanganui at noon to-day and will return south to load for New Plymouth, being scheduled to call at Dunedin on. February 20, Timaru February 21, Lyttelton February 22, Wellington February 23 and Wanganui February 24, arriving at New Plymouth on February 25. (Hooker Bros.). The Karepo will load 500 tons of,coal at Westport and is due at New Plymouth on Thursday. The vessel will proceed to Wellington and Auckland. (U.S.S. Co.). • The Hauturu left Wanganui yesterday lor Onehunga. She will leave Onehunga again to-morrow for New Plymouth, being due on Thursday? (Northern Co.). The Opihi arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson, with 420 tons, including transhipments from the Monowai, Makura and Wainui. The Opihi sailed yesterday for Westport, Lyttelton and Dunedin to reload for New Plymouth. (U.S.S. Co.). ' The Kaimai is to load at Dunedin on Wednesday for New' Plymouth, via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kaimai is due at New Plymouth about February 21. (U.S.S. Co.). OVERSEAS SHIPS’ MOVEMENTS. KENT LEAVES FOR AUCKLAND. The Kent, which arrived at New Plymouth from Falmouth in ballast on Wednesday to load 26,000 freight carcases of meat, 3300 boxes of butter and 7000 crates of cheese, left for Auckland yesterday to continue. her itinerary. FORT NAPIER. AT NEW PLYMOUTH. The Port Napier arrived at New Plymouth from Auckland on Sunday night to discharge, 1300 tons, mostly fertiliser. After discharge the vessel will load 4100 boxes of buter, 7000 crates of cheese and 15,750 freight carcases of meat and will complete at Gisborne, Napier, Wanganui and Wellington, sailing on March 11 from Wellington for England, via Montevideo. Captain H. Steele is in command of the Port Napier and his officers are: Chief, Mr. P. S. Ball; second, Mr. E. G. Jones; third, Mr. F. Gorman; fourth, Mr. P. Webb; chief engineer, Mr. H. Griffiths; second, Mr. C. Pots; third, Mr. J. Hendry; fourth, Mr. J. Irvine; fifth, Mr. A. Benjamin; sixth, Mr. L. Ramsay; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. A. Phillips; second, Mr. T. Chambers; wireless operator, Mrt A. McNiven; chief steward, Mr. H. J. Gurr. The Port Napier arrived at New Plymouth from Hull and Antwerp,, via Sydney and Auckland, and will leave at the end of the week for Gisborne. THE ANTINOUS. The British steamer Antinous, which has been discharging phosphates from Nauru Island at Auckland, was to sail last night for New Plymouth to complete discharge. She is due at New Plymouth to-morrow night or Thursday morning. SURREY FOR BRITAIN. Having completed loading, the Federal steamer Surrey sailed from Auckland early on Saturday morning for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow, via Montevideo and Dakar. She arrived at New Plymouth on January 27, when she loaded 10,000 freight carcases of meat, 5100 boxes of butter and 5200 crates of cheese. , SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
