RELIEF WORKERS’ MEETING
ANNUAL BUSINESS DISCUSSED. FLECTION OF THE OFFICERS HELD. The annual meeting of the relief workers’ section of the New Plymouth General Labourers’ Union was held in the Workers’ Social Hall last night. There was an attendance of about 150 members. _ , _ The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. B. Thorne; vice-president, Mr. F. Beard; * secretary, Mr. R. Fulton; executive, Messrs. H. Lawrence, H. V.. Falk, J. South, G. S. Scott, J. Yates, A. Medway and J. E» Bailey. Appreciative mention was made of the services rendered by the outgoing officers.
