REJECTION BY JAPANESE
NON-RECOGNITION of manchukuo MAY NOT MEAN LEAVING LEAGUE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Geneva, Feb. 10. Mr. Matsuoka has conveyed the last word of the Japanese to the League. It rejected the resolution of the Committee of Nineteen refusing to reeognise Manchukuo, It added that the decision would pot necessarily mean the withdrawal of Japan from the League. The Committee of Nineteen yesterday decided to ask Japan whether the Government would unequivocally agree that the existing regime in Manchukuo did not solve the problem.
