The weather is still expected to.be showery at times in districts with a westerly aspect and the far south, but is gradually improving. It will be fine in eastern districts. Temperatures will be cool. West to south-west winds, strong but decreasing gradually, are expected. Seas in New Zealand waters will be rough on the west coast with a heavy south-west swell, and rough on the east coast. In the eastern Tasman Sea strong but decreasing south-westerly winds and moderate to rough seas, with a heavy south-west swell, are expected. The depression located over New Zealand during the past two days is moving very slowly eastward,, pressure still being very low east of the - South Island.- A slight anti-cyclone covers the western Tasman Sea.
