HEAVY SAFE REMOVED
PALMERSTON . NORTH £8 ROBBERY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston N., Jan. 31. The discovery -was made this morning that burglars had entered the premises of the HayWoo’d Vulcanising Works, Rahgitikei Street, and removed ' the safe containing £8 in notes and silver. The front door’had been forced, and the safe, of a weighty nature, would require two meh to lift it. An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal the safe from the same premises a year ago.
